((Yes, this IS in first-person. Dun worry, I'll tell you when I switch. And later on, it'll turn over to third person. Also, many thanks to Whitewolf, who helped me with names and titles!))
"Beast Hunt"
Fear enclosed me as I raced away from the humans, taking on the form of a fox. "Beast!" "Kill it!" The cold voices rose higher and higher. My legs pounded painfully on the turf, but I couldn't seem to outrun them. I ran into a cave scarcely big enough for me to get into, let alone a pack of humans.
I breathed frantically, half-panicking. Their roars and yells echoed into the stone cave, slamming into my ears. I whined feverishly, closing my eyes. A shrill, child's voice screamed my name, Katashi, in a panicked voice, telling me to stay awake, yet, surprisingly, sleep came... quickly.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"BloodLust Bite"
The eyes of cold ruby held me spellbound as she, the vampire, came closer. Her teeth met my neck in a silver kiss. I thrashed and clawed, and she drew back after what seemed like an hour, but was really minutes, vampire teeth glistening crimson. "Thank you for..." Her velvety voice paused, and she sneered. "...allowing me to drink your blood. Good evening to you..." Her eyes glazed for a moment, then finished,"...Coili." And then she left me there, bleeding slightly. Then the world faded to black.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Warm Heart, Cold Revenge"
I ran, eyes set on my prey, a doe, and paws silently pounding against the soft, earthen ground. My black fur rippled in the song of the wind, my jaws opened. Oh, this was the thrill. My packmates were beside me, our pelts brushing and mingling together. I leapt upon the doe, but found it to be plastic. Instincts of mine spoke up before logic, causing me to spring away, half-tripping over my own paws.
I tumbled into the underbrush, moss breaking my fall silently. I watched in horror as my packmates were captured by humans, scientists. It was all a trap. We were fooled. I wanted to snarl, but I kept quiet, despite the howls of my comrades, my family crying out for help, pup squealing my name, Luka. The scientists shut them up in cages, stowing them in a truck and driving away. Sadly, I slunk away, mind set on revenge. The humans would pay.
