Mirage sank into silence. Syria finally spoke up,"Because Timeaus' future couterparts killed Warrick's. Both in the Sands and the other time." She looked distracted as she said it, however, lost in a memory of her own.

Kira gave Syria a strange look. "Bakura isn't killed in the future. He curses a piece of the Millennium Puzzle so he can hide in there to try and take the Pharaoh's power & the only reason he winds up in the Shadow Realm is 'cause he got the bright idea to challenge Yami Marik to a game in which he knew he was gonna loose!" She quite suddenly ranted, making Timeaus cover his mouth to try and hide the laughter that was threatening to bubble up. "I see Trinity is a bit of a ranter." He commented, earning a hefty twat to the head.

"Technically...." Syria muttered, but clamped her mouth shut, rolling her eyes. Mirage chuckled. "Perhaps. But the fact remains that he WAS killed in the Sands, and she had to watch. Wouldn't you carry a grudge if that were to happen to Timaeus?" she calmly asked Kira.

"To an extent, I'll admit that much then again, I'm not one to speak since he kills himself later on in the Sands." Kira said, elbowing Timeaus hard in the ribs.

Mirage nodded, then whispered,"But the difference is choosing." With that, she closed her eyes, effectively cutting off her part of the conversation.

"Quite true. I guess if he did have a choice he might not have done that.....Er, Timeaus's Sands incarnation killing Warrick's, I mean!" Kira said, feeling a presence similar to Tris's.

"No. The choice factor is that of Timeaus's future chose to die for everyone's sake. Warrick's counterpart had no other choice but to return to sand. In my future counterpart's arms." Tris glowered at everyone, her chin raised defiantly. "Sister, please, do not fight...." Syria ventured, her former confident and slightly arrogant countenance disappearing in light of Tris' newfound bitterness and hateful aura. Tris waved a hand, sending Syria crashing into a wall with a squeak. Mirage jumped to her feet with a snarl, already unsheathing her hidden dagger, but Tris glared at her and she was forced into stillness by some unseen force. In fact, all in the room had been frozen in position, only their heads free to move and converse.

Quite clearly pissed about not being able to help Syria, Kira muttered a surprising curse in an unknown language. "You know I hate to be a stickler for certain details but from what I've gathered I doubt Timeaus had a choice either, but please don't consider it." She said in a vain attempt to make light of an odd fact, a prophecy that said that two titans of Egypt were to constantly do war against each other.

Tris, however, ignored this, her only reply a sharp,"Everyone has a choice, Kira." Mirage rolled her eyes. "Technically, no one has-" The eldest Evierwood sister was silenced by a slap to the face. "Shut up!" Tris snarled, turning from her sister to pace around. "I've come across some unsettling news. I felt that you all needed to know this." She rolled her eyes. "Damn my attachment to you all."

"Somethings can't be helped Tris. Now, what is this news you speak of?" Warrick asked her gently.

Tris stopped, then sighed, staring out the window. "Dartz has found another ally. She's far more powerful than he is, and much more deadly." A pause. "Or so I've heard tell." She paused again. "She seems to be not only a mage, but something other than human." She fell silent suddenly.
